Life Change Community Outreach, Inc. was founded November of 2019. Our original vision was to prevent homelessness in our community. Our goal was to build short term housing and rescue families that were being evicted. Providing finanical management and life skill courses. Along with job assistance placement and transportation to help famlies get back on their feet.
Then Covid came along and stopped all construction projects we had started. March of 2020 we began providing food to families that were not able to get out because of Covid restraints. From helping a few families each week to now assisting over 700 families per month in Northeast Oklahoma. Our goal is to assist 1000 familes with much needed food items each month by the end of 2024. Plans have begun to resume construction on emergency homes starting July of 2024.
Our mission is to make sure that families in crisis have the resources needed to prevent homelessness. Whether that be food or shelter our goal is to assist over 1000 familes each month in need.
We also assist other charities by providing food and clothing donations along with volunteer support to help them be successful.
Our support to the rural communites has doubled. We partner with local churches and agencies that do not have the resources needed to meet their local need. We provide monthly deliveries of food and other items to assist them with community support.
